According to Islam, all of God's prophets were Muslims (Submitters to the will of God). Starting from Adam to Muhammad. Therefore Islam (Submission) started with Adam.

Hinduism, and Buddhism (non-Abrahamic) followed.

Moses( a Muslim) followed. He was specifically sent to the Jews (God's Chosen) to reaffirm the same religion of Adam, Noah, and Abraham thru the Torah and the Ten Commandments. The religion was not named or recognized as Judaism until the 14th century. Until then, the race and religion had the same name, Jews (Yahud,Yahudi).

Jesus (a Muslim) followed. He was also sent to the Jews to reconfirm the teachings of past prophets (thru Bible) but was basically rejected by them except for a few. Those few and non Jewish followers were named Massihs or Massiah followers (Christians).

Muhammad (a Muslim) was sent to spread Islam, the religion of past prophets, thru the Quran, as a mercy to the rest of humanity.
