1st off if u.r. trying to remove the actual freon technically and enviromentally speaking this should be done using the proper recovery equipment of which the average backyarder doesn't own... but it is removed from the shrader valve located either in the Plumbing itself or on the dryer.2nd if u.r. only have a condensation/dripping water concern there should be a small usually rubber drainhose somewhere(near th bottom for obvious reasons) in the heater box on firewall.
On a 96, it is on the passenger side under dash and pokes through firewall.
It is on the firewall under the hood. The metal insulation shield has a cut out that just need to be pulled up some so the water can drain out. The cut out looks like a light bulb.

drain stopped up locate the drain tube on the passenger side at the firewall and use compressed air or a wire to clean it out, water should run out of it.
