India is already on its way to becoming a developed country. However, certain things are still lacking. Although, today the government of India may claim to be an emerging super power but the reality is quite different from what the government of India or the media of India portray to the world.

India may have progressed on paper and on screen but do we see the progress on the streets of India? Don't we still see people living in poverty. There are millions of people still surviving in India on an income of less than one dollar a day. India can never be considered a developed country unless and until the poverty, hunger and pain of the poor on the streets and those living in the slums is curbed.

Lately the government of India has come up with several developmental plans and no doubt it has helped boost the economy of the Country in some ways. But the long term impact of these plans do not seem to serve the purpose, or what should be the purpose of any government, that is, prosperity of the common man. Investment is pouring in from within the Country and abroad, but the poor man is getting poorer. The Country may boast of an increase in international trade, an increased export revenue, but it can't boast of meeting the Millennium Development Goal of bringing down the number of poor on its soil!

In order to be considered a developed Country, India needs to focus on the common man. On the prosperity of the general public and on the living conditions that its residents have to face.

Use a great deal more energy in order to contribute more to global pollution and warming. A good way of doing this would be to industrialize the agriculture of India which would also have the added benefit of throwing 75 % of the population out of work so they could become criminals and drug addicts.

India is growing all the time and it is only a matter of time before it is a "developed nation". It's economy is one of the fastest growing in the world.

Taken from Wikipedia;

In the revised 2007 figures, based on increased and sustaining growth, more inflows into foreign direct investment, Goldman Sachs predicts that "from 2007 to 2020, India's GDP per capita in US$ terms will quadruple", and that the Indian economy will surpass the United States (in US$) by 2043.[6] Despite high growth rate, the report stated that India would continue to remain a low-income country for several decades but can be a "motor for the world economy" if it fulfills its growth potential.[6] Goldman Sachs has outlined 10 things that it needs to do in order to achieve its potential and grow 40 times by 2050. These are

1. improve governance

2. raise educational achievement

3. increase quality and quantity of universities

4. control inflation

5. introduce a credible fiscal policy

6. liberalize financial markets

7. increase trade with neighbours

8. increase agricultural productivity

9. improve infrastructure and

10. improve environmental quality.[48]

1. Population control:

Some families esp people from rural ones have way more than 2 children.

2. Equality:

Abolish personal law for Muslims (What? A Muslim may have 2 wives but Hindu cant? Do Muslim's have more women?)

Reservation needed for backward classes, though for our own selfishness we don't support it. This upgrade the lower society living status.

3. Old people in politics:

This isn't china to be run by wizened old men. Unless that person has become PM or minister, he/she should not be allowed to contest in elections after 65. If he/she becomes 65 while in office that's OK

Educate people for higher studies. Educated youngster should take the responsibility to develop the nation by entering in politics.

first India has to do some basic programs. 1. restructuring infrastructures. 2 sanitation 3 basic network.

protect against terrorist activities and peace in all neighboring countries, protect against corruption in various government department and to reduce poverty,Youngster to give cabinet minister ship

  1. Need to take steps in controlling population !!

    2. Not the educated people in politics, but we need good people.

Educated Youngsters should enter politics

Realy it's an good matter to think . The way is also know everyone, but tell me one thing how many people should go for it. When every Indian is happy, then India will happy. When no one sleeps with hunger, then India will happy. When we all respect each other, then India will be happy.

Every time we think what we get from our country, no one could think what he or she has given to country and what his contribution in the development of country. Every people know what is the ethic, moral responsibility of his or her, what his fate have been telling, we respect our elder and love to our younger, don't tell lie, but these all are the only word, printed materials in the book, or ethical word for given speech to others.

The question is here, what we do for our country and society or human being, nor what we expect from country. When we all do good and respect full for our country and society then we expect our India will have been clean and happy. Only printed word and knowing knowledge is not making happy country, when we not implement our ethics or good behavior in our daily work.

People need a good environment and peace under country, good relation between neighbors. Good governance and uncorrupted politician will be given all demands. After all a peaceful environment provide a good people and happy country. Unemployment, corruption, violence, is the big issue today. Whenever we not control on it we will not give a good and happy country to our Indians.

So if we want our country and countryman will be happy then we will do more that I have been done. Because thinking is vesting our time, therefore let do good and make happier country.

If we take the government of China it is a single party system (called People's Republic of China), so everyone should adapt to their government orders and no one can able to oppose, but in India so many parties, religious conflicts, Caste System plays major role to decide anything. That should be first removed from the mindset of our people. Every countries had terror attacks and extremists, so our government do not spend much more amount in defence and spend it for human development, agriculture and other infrastructures. In order to remove corruption, we (people) have to change first, we have to stop giving money for others for our own benefits in some small small things. The rich people thought that they are able to buy anything with money so they have to minimise the use of country's resources such as food, oil, gas, etc so that it should be utilised by other class of people also. We SHOULD NOT waste essential things like food, milk, etc. Like Bill Gates Foundation, our industrialists, millionaires should come forward to start a foundation which would improve our growth in all paths. The top most richest Indians names was not present in the top 10 list of tax payers in India. Then how our finance will improve??? The government should get the food crops from farmers for their fixed rate only, not with government fixed rates. The banks should reduce their interest rates so that unemployed youths and farmers could get the loans easily. In order to correct the current politics system, the youngsters should show their interest in Political Science, Economics rather than Engineering or Medicine. And in parallel, our Election Commission put strong rules for election candidates atleast a minimum criteria of 12th standard certificate. If this are all happened, India should developed but not in terms of any time frame.

The economy industrializes. Birth rates fall as citizens gain better access to Birth Control and health care and move away from agricultural jobs in which having huge numbers of children is beneficial. Death rates fall as health care becomes better. The average life expectancy becomes longer, and the population ages slightly. The economy is in good shape and does not depend solely on one industry. the education system is improved and in better shape to increase the quality of jobs being put on the market. The average income goes up and am, there's a developed country. Contrary to popular belief, the countries with high birth rates/a lot of kids being born are not the developed countries, they are the poor countries. In poorer countries, birth control is not as common, and women are generally expected to pump out as many children as possible. Some of these children will die, so the more the better, in their eyes. Think about it: the average family in North America, Australia, or Western Europe probably has 1-3 kids. Couples often make the decision together when to have kids and when to stop. In underdeveloped countries, none of that planning happens. Birth control is rarely used, and usually frowned upon. In a developed country, the woman usually is held in equal regard and often has a job, but underdeveloped countries are generally still very sexist.

By sexist in a developing country, this means that there are clear distinctions between what a man does and what a woman does in the home and in society, similar to how there are clear physical distinctions between a man and woman. A developed country often has a higher competition between man and woman as the women are regarding themselves as being equal to men, regardless of the obvious physiological differences.

It has been in the process of becoming a developed country for 30 or more years now. There is still a great deal of poverty but, at the same time, there have been significant advances in educating a greater proportion of the population than ever before. India has rapidly gained stature in the world for churning out computer programmers, engineers, physicians, Accountants, and many other professional people.

However, it will still take more time before India is considered a nearly fully developed country. With 1.17 billion people, India is the second most populous nation, after China. Thus, another few decades will be needed, at least.
