That is the dealers responsibility. It should be included with the purchase of the new key.
See the dealer or you'll have him see you as you are locked out with the antitheft going off. Question why do I have to see a dealer? I have the master key, found instructions on the Internet for a 2004 to delete existing keys except master, than how to reprogram smart keys and valet key. Not sure if the same programming instructions work for a 2005? (I have been able to program all of my other smart keys fo other "dealer only" monogramming .
you need to go to the dealer and get the factory code to reprogram it
I went to the dealer, and I have been quoted $90.00 to replace the climate control nob light bulb. How do I get to the dash board to replace it?
After All I'v been thru and spent, here is the answer to question " CRANK SENSOR". Been from dealer to dealer replace this, tighten that Hey part costed half of what the dealers or shop were asking and it really wasn't hard to replace. Good Start Up!
The Slave Cylinder and the Master Cylinder control totally different systems. The Slave has to do with the clutch, and the Master has to do with the brakes. They have nothing in common.
In order to replace the master cylinder with ABS attached to the master cylinder on a 1995 Grand Am you will need to complete the following steps: Disconnect the negative battery cable. Locate the master cylinder which is attached to the drivers side of the firewall. Remove the ABS brake line from the master cylinder using a wrench. Disconnect the fluid hose from the master cylinder using a wrench. Unscrew the nuts that hold the master cylinder in place. Remove the master cylinder and install a new one. Reattach the fluid hose to the master cylinder. Reattach the ABS brake line to the master cylinder. Tighten all the nuts and bolts and reconnect the negative battery cable.Once all of these steps have been completed you can be sure that your master cylinder has been properly replaced and is ready for use.
I've been told by the Toyota dealer that the rear bumper must be removed to replace a reverse bulb on the 2007 Solara Sport. Is there any other way?
You have to replace the hazard/turn signal switch located in the center of the dash. Oldsmobile issued a recall for this part in 2004. If it has not been replaced, the dealer will do it for free. If it has been replaced, and failed again (like mine has) you are on your own. Call a dealer to see if it has been replaced yet.
I think what was probably said was Jimmy Page is a riff master - a riff master isn't a computer program, it's someone who is a master at the art of creating riffs. Like Jimmy Page (much though it pains me to say it), Ritchie Blackmore or Tony Iommi.
If you have already checked the brake fluid levels, you'll have to replace the master cylinder.
If it's been 60k miles you might get it done, but not at dealer-labor rates are too high. Your engine is non interference so you can drive it until it breaks anyway with no damage.
As near as I can tell, the difference between the master key and valet key is that the master is slightly thicker -- they are both cut with exactly the same pattern. So as long as you get a master blank, and they are readily available (I have not been able to find a valet blank, the narrower one), have it cut to with the valet and you will have a new master.
