i believe it should be the same on the 04 - 08 model Pontiac grand prix :
the inside door handle, not the one u pool to open the door but the one u use from the inside to pull the door so u can close it. that handle has a flat cover (almost impossible to tell it has a cover); use something to pull it off, and you will find 2 screws in there that are keeping the door panel from being pulled out; use the right screw driver to unscrew and pull the door panel from corner by corner.

Its a metric 10 mm on mine.. but you have to be really carefull.. plastic likes to crack. Use something non metal to pry the rest of the door off or scratch your paint .

On my 97, its in the fuse panel at the end of the dash. Open drivers door to get to the panel.
It is located in the fuse panel on the drivers side of the dash. Open the drivers door to see the cover of the fuse panel.

Using a screwdriver, remove all the screws in the door panel and remove all the clips holding the panel to the frame. Gently pull the panel away from the frame, remove an wire connectors and pull the panel off the frame.
