Call your LR or BMW dealer and just aske if you can/they can unscrew your radio for you - either one of them has the little screwdriver that will allow you to unscrew the little screws in order to take the radio out. Good Luck!

If your radio has 2 small holes on either side of radio, use a 5/64 Allen wrench, insert into holes, turn counter clockwise. This will release tabs holding radio in place.
you need to make a U shaped tool that has little hooks on the end of each of the 2 ends. Holding the centre of the U the 2 probe ends are inserted into the 2 holes on the front panel of the radio. each of the hooks is engaged deep within each hole and releases the 2 locking mechanisms. the radio will now slide out Regards peter - Western Australia
gently pull the facia at the top (above the vents) the are onlt clipped in, the whole facia will then pull forward, you will see four scews beside radio remove them, pull out radio and disconnect rear plugs
I don't know about a 2000 vito but the new ones have a fuse on the back of the radio. You have to remove the radio to get to it.
most radio head units have tabs on the side where you need what is called radio keys to remove most times two butter knifes will do if you can see the tabs

I just changed mine, you have to take the screws out of the pieces below the radio so you can get to some more screws which are located on a bracket beneath the radio! The radio will slide out with the bracket attached! Not a 5 minute job!

They are just push on, the spark ends are easier to remove if you twist the boot, the coil pack ends can be carefully levered with a flat screwdriver.

Remove the decorative cover from your Cadillac Eldorado radio. Remove the radio retaining screws. The radio will slide out. Remove the wiring harness and the antenna cable from the back of the radio.
