most rotors have a threaded hole so that you can screw in a bolt to back the rotor off of the hub. there may also be a small emergency brake set up inside the inner hub portion of the rotor. if someone has driven with the e-brake on, there may be the same type of lip you would encounter on drum brakes. hope this helps.

(take care to depress the cylinder evenly) Replace the break pad or put the old one back on. (you'll probably need to replace the break pad if your rotor needs replaced.) Put the calliper back onto the rotor and bolt it back on Place the wheel back on.

Put the nut back on a few turns Grasp the rotor very gently and slide the rotor off at high speed allowing it to drop by force of gravity. The inner bearing should snag on the nut keeping the inner bearing and race on the spindle as the rotor comes off. Remove the nut. Do not forget to clean and repack your wheel bearings before you put the rotor back on.

While screwing the nut back rotate the roter counter clock wise to remove any excess grease from the bearings. Once the nut is hand tight against the rotor, replace the nut lock, pin and dust cap. Now all you have to do is put the break caliper and tire back on and off you go.
