you unscrew the dash,should be two Philips head screws,like right behind the steering wheel but like on the top in the plastic part of the cluster u take that off then remove all the screws you can see i think theres like 6 or 8 of them,then you unclip the wiring in the back of the gauge cluster and unplug the speedometer one and your done...when pulling the plugs out you usually have to turn the gauge cluster to one sideso you can reach your hand behind there,when you put it back together make sure you hook up the speedometer one first just cuz its really hard to get out and go back in first and if you get the new cluster clipped in and the screws in id drive the car before putting the plastic back together to make sure the speedometer is working...when you get it out you can change your lights to be different colors,you can put in white faces or indiglo gauges you can even go to a junk yard and get one with less miles and if you live in a state where you don't need a title or the cars old enough makes selling the car easier,so PAY ATTENTION when you buy a car don't go by the miledge ever! cuz alot of ppl do this when it comes to Honda's!~Marcus

The entire cluster must be removed to replace the lamps. The procedure is as follows; Remove the two screws at the top of the clear cover. They go up into the instrument panel. Remove the screws underneath the left panel for the light switch (one screw) and right panel for the AC/Heater control (two screws). Remove the screw at the top of the panel behind the Heater/AC control. Pull the entire assembly forward. Remove the screws holding the instrument cluster in place and tilt it forward. There are a total of 6 lamps to light the gauge cluster. Four across the top and one on each side at the bottom. These are larger than the others. Turn the socket assembly counter-clockwise and pull it out. The lamp and socket are one piece and are type 194. Install new lamp and socket assemblies and turn clockwise to lock them in. Reinstall the cluster. For the digital gauge cluster there are nine lamps across the top of the cluster, but none are used for lighting.
