How do you remove the Driver Side door panel on a 2000 Trooper?

I found this out when I needed to fix the driver's window on mine. The obvious first step is to remove all screws. Look carefully, there is one or two hidden in the door handle part. Once that is done, get a flat tip screw driver to dislodge the plastic clips and it should pop right off.

Opening the driver door of a 2000 Cadillac Seville is easy. All you have do is pop off the door panel.

There is a small access panel underneath that you must remove first in order to access the torque converter bolts. The panel is very small so a socket and wrench should be used. Bolts should be 17MM. Good luck!

I just removed the driver side door panel on a 2001 Mustang. Remove the panel holding the auto widow switches. There are 2 screws under there. Remove the 2 screrws and lift the whole panel up. There was a p[lastic push-in screw on the front of the panel that caused some problem. This was pushed out and the panel came right off. The switch panel will fit throught the hole. That's it. You will need to remove the screws in the door. They are located in the door handle, the door latch and at the very bottom of the panel. Once you remove the three screws pull the panel and it will pop out.

You must remove those pieces that don't seem to flow with the door panel (they pop right off with a screw driver), then you will se screws underneath them... unscrew these screws and the door panel should easily pop right off.
