I just took one out of a 95 4 door Ford Escort today. I took the molding off around the track and motor then unpluged the wires at the top by the start of the track and one down at the motor. You will want to disconnect your battery before you do any of this. Then take all the bolts off with a socket wrench, theres some screws. After you pull the motor out there will be a small wire pluged in behind it, it pulls right off.

Hopes this helps.

You need to remove the 4 or 8 bolts that hold the track to the floor. Then you can remove the seat. But you must unclip the wires for the motor first before removing it so you do not damage them.

Remove the inside door panel. Remove the wiring harness from the window motor. Remove the track linkage. Remove the window motor retaining screws. Reverse the process to install the new window motor.
