The best way to remove the clutch fan is to rent the clutch fan wrench from an automotive store (Advance, Autozone, etc). When you find the one that fits the nut on the backside of the fan, place the wrench on the nut and hit the other end with a hammer. It will break it loose and allow you to remove it from the pulley. Remember, the nut is right hand thread, so it tighten and loosens backwards from normal.
