There should be a tiny pinhole on one of the plastic grommets below where the metal headrest shafts go into the top of the seat. Bend a paper clip flat then sick it into the hole and wiggle it around while holding the release button on the other grommet with your thumb. Having two people to do this is best -- one to use the paper clip and one to pull up on the headrest.
