There is a good description in the Haynes Repair manual it's available at auto part stores for about $15. It is a long and fairly complicated process since the core is buried behind the dash.
I just did this for a 1990 spirit, following the Haynes manual. It had mostly good, but some not-so-good instructions. It is not specific (it is for Spirits and Plymouth Acclaims 1989 through 92).
