its real hard!! you gotte first remove the plastic trim surrounding the door openings- when i was faced with this,i opted to order some custom covers that fit very nicely on the kicks beside the footwells- surprisingly cheap,and look quite proffessional looking then you have a greater range of speakers to choose from as well.
