Are you talking about the heater hose connection on the intake manifold? If so, they are notorious for breaking off. You may need to use an "easy out" type of tool that can fit into the inside of the pipe. If it doesn't thread out, you may need to drill and tap the fitting. If you do that, run water in through the radiator cap as you drill and tap it so that water and shavings will be forced out of and you don't end up with metal shavings in the coolant.
Underneath the intake manifold, there is a front and rear, under a rubber seal with a wire leading to the sensor. You will need to remove wiring and lines above intake, and disconnect fuel line to rails before removing intake. You do not need to remove injectors.
