First, remove the two dash screws located above the steering wheel assembly. The rest of the dash unclips. Disconnect any electrical connectors and remove the dash. This whole process should only take about 5 minutes. Once the dash is removed, the stereo and the tray below it are held in by four screws in the middle of the center console. Remove the screws and the stereo comes right out. If you check on crutchfield.com, it will tell you which stereos will fit in your Kia - not just the dimensions but it will also tell you if the mounting holes on the tray will line up right. Pretty cool.

To remove the cassette player from a 1994 Holden Apollo to install a CD player, the first step is to remove the knobs for the radio. They should just pull off. Then locate the screws holding the radio cover. This might require an Allen wrench. Remove the radio, unhook the antenna and speaker wires and then install the CD player.

Installing a satellite radio system in a Kia Sephia shouldn't cost more than $50.00 at the most. Fortunately, satellite radio receivers are more than affordable today.
