It would be best to consult the Factory Service Manual.
Remove from the axle: tires, drive shaft, shock absorbers, parking brake cable and the soft brake hose. Remove the u-bolts and lower the axle.

remove wheels
drain diff oil
remove back plate on diff
remove bolt and block that is visable inside diff housing
push axle in toward cetre of truck
remove C clip from inner end of axle
slide axle out
you may have to remove brake drums to do this
