You have to remove the entire door panel. The speaker cover only looks like it will come off. The Focus door panel is one of the simplest ones to remove as it does not use those @#$%! clips, only screws. You only need a Torx driver (20 I think) and a socket for the door pull. A couple of small blade screwdrivers are needed for pruing off the covers and getting to the window crank (if not power) is a bit annoying the first time. I would strongly encourage getting the repair manual from the auto parts store. They cover this procedure quite well ......
You don't need to remove front door panels, the speaker grills come out.
Remove door panels.. Unscrew old speakers..Screw in new speakers..replace door panels...ready 2 GO..
You have to remove the rear seats to be able to remove the rear side panels. Then you have to disconnect the wires to the speaker, unscrew the speaker, then reinstall the new one.
There should be 4 door speakers in a blazer - all of them are 6 1/2" speakers. I do believe you need to pull off the door panels to replace the speakers, I have not done that to my truck yet.. Hope that helps you.
To replace the front speakers in a Toyota Sienna the door panels must first be removed. With the door panels removed the speakers will be easily accessible and the mounting screws can be loosen. Unplug the speakers and remove them. Install the new speakers.
take the door panels off, remove the housing for the Bose speakers, take apart the housing and cut the wires, put in a small speaker to replace the Bose full range speaker. (alternatively, replace the Bose housing with a custom mounting board) put the Bose housing back and the door panels back. cut the wires on the rear deck speakers and install a 6x9 speaker system. replace the CD player. (the original 2ohm Bose speakers burn out players designed for 4 or 8 ohm speaker systems)
If your talking about the door speakers then you will have to remove the door panels to get to the speakers.
Take the door panels screw the screws out the speaker pull the plug off the speaker put the new one redoing everything you did to take it out
You will need to take off the panels covering the speakers, then you will unscrew the speaker and take it out, after that you will need to unplug the adapter from the back of the speaker and cut off the adapter at the end of the speaker wires, then just attach your little plugs to the end and plug it into the back of your new speakers. Screw everything back in and put your panels back up.-Shocker
