The trim that surrounds the stereo is held in place by snap-in* clips at the left and right bottom. You should be able to pop the trim off them by inserting a thin screwdriver on the right side ... in the middle is fine, and then again on the left side. The top of the trim also has a ridge that holds it in place. With the two clips disengaged, push the top of the molding towards the front of the car and slip it down and out, taking care not to fubar the cigarette lighter wiring. With the trim off, there are 3 screws and one plastic dongle that hold the stereo in place. Unscrew the 3 screws, only the top left one is not in plain view. The plastic dongle is next to the bottom right screw. I found it a pain to slide the stereo bracket off this stupid plastic thing, your mileage may vary.

  • i don't know what if that's the correct name.
  • Please keep in mind you don't have to take the plastic trim that covers the gauges......it looks like you should, but you don't.
