If you open the tailgate there should be two screws that you need to take out. I don't know if you can just replace the lens, I think it is one unit.
The lens assembly is held in with two screws. Remove those and the lens will pop out.
Check with the dealer but it is an assembly.

I had trouble with the lens on my 97 Mazda. I found that after you take out the screws, you slide it towards the midline of the truck. (Rt lens moves left, L lens moves right.
Remove the two screws that hold the lens on, remove the lens and change the bulbs.
You will need pliers to remove the wire strip that keeps the light in the socket, then remove the lens. Carefully remove the bulb making sure there is not power in the light then replaces the bulb and reattach the lens and wire.

To replace the dome light bulb first remove the lens. If you gently squeeze the sides of the lens it will come out. Remove the old bulb, put in the new bulb. The lens snaps back in place.
