hey matee just lossen up the bolt retaining the altinator at the top and swing your altinator towards the cylinder head then take off the fan/drive belt and undo the two bolts retaining the water pump. the pipe on the bak just has an o ring and it jams in a recessed section on the water pump so you just have to pull it once all the other bolts are out. just be carefull cause that pipe rusts up after time and if its damaged you will have to replace it which can be expensive($97.00) from Ford and then you have to pull off all the emmision gear and exhaust mainifold. if this is stuffed and you are replacing the pump try to get a pump which has a different fitting on it which actually comes out of the pump that way you can simply cut off the rusty section of pipe and get a bit of 5/16 hose by memory then just join them together using some good hose clamps. good luck

Hose blockage, core blockage, disconnected heat valve.
Very simple on that car. On the passenger side firewall you'll see two heater hoses running in. Remove the clamps and pull both hoses from the heater core. You'll lose anti freeze doing this. Either use a hose coupler the correct size or remove one of the hoses from the engine and mount the other hose to that location.
