It really depends if it already has the wiring harness installed. Some models have the wiring harness already because it was a factory option. If the wiring is there, then it is a piece of cake. If the wiring isn't already there then you are going to have fun turning into a electrician for a day and making it work anyways. Also make sure you get the correct year for the window motor since the door was changed slightly through the years of the Probe.
Find the short or break and repair it with butt connectors. The best tool for diagnosis and locating these faults is the Power Probe. Otherwise, you'll have to unwrap wiring and find it manually.
In the alternator. Have to replace the Alternator.
Disconnect - Battery cable Raise and safely secure vehicle Remove 2 mountig bolts Remove wiring harness Remove outer tie rod end remove cotter pin loosen slotted bolt Rap housing sharply w/hammer to release (should pop-up) Remove slotted nut twist and remove starter
I had this problem what you need to do is remove the half shaft to get this out because there is no room to get it past this point. Sorry for the bad news.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.Raise and safely support the vehicle.Remove the right-hand halfshaft (axle)From the rear of the alternator, depress the lock tabs on the wiring terminals and pull the terminals straight off. Mark the location of the wires prior to removal so they can be reinstalled in their original positions.Loosen the alternator adjustment and through bolts to allow the alternator to pivot. Remove the alternator drive belt.Remove the alternator adjustment bracket, lock bolt and through bolt.Hold the alternator to prevent it from falling and remove it through the space left from the removed halfshaft. To install:Position the alternator and loosely install the mounting and adjustment bolts.Install the drive belt and adjust the tension Tighten the through bolt to 27-38 ft. lbs. (37-52 Nm) and the adjusting bolt to 14-19 ft. lbs. (19-25 Nm).Connect the wiring terminals at the rear of the alternator.Install the right-hand halfshaft.Lower the vehicle. Connect the negative battery cable.
I have a 97 Ford probe and when I had to replace my alternator... I had to pulled the passenger tire off and pull the whole assembly apart so I could get the alternator.. There are 2 bolts to loosen up and pull the belt out slide the alternator down by the exhaust and pull it out by the CV axle

Mark the location of the wires prior to removal so they can be reinstalled in their original positions.Loosen the alternator adjustment and through bolts enough to allow the alternator to pivot. Remove the alternator drive belt.Remove the alternator adjustment bracket, lock bolt and through bolt.Hold the alternator to prevent it from falling and remove it through the space left by the removed halfshaft. To install:Position the alternator and loosely install the mounting and adjustment bolts.Install the drive belt and adjust the tension Tighten the through bolt to 27-38 ft. lbs. The alternator is located on the passenger side of the motor. You can remove 2 of the bolts from the topside of the engine, but the third one is located at the bottom of it. In order to get to it, you have to remove the passenger side front tire and the wheel well covering. Hard job, it's a very tight squeeze doing both because of the limited space to work in.
If you mean for the stero, check at www.installdr.com.
With a ratchet and a set of sockets? Its right there in the front just take the 3 or so bolts out and pull it out, unplug the wires and remove it. There isn't too much to it.
