i didnt think it would be this simple but all you have to do is clamp on a set of locking pliers on the base of the arm and pull out. that's it.

You must first remove the wiper arms. then, remove the screws holding the black plastic grill under the wiper arms. This will expose the motor. You will then need to disconnect the wiper arm transmission linkage from the motor, the remove the three bolts holding the motor on. Install in reverse order.
