Pry the remote rod out of the handle with a small screwdriver, remove the nuts or drill out the rivets, as required. and lift the handle off. I assume you are referring to the exterior handle which I replaced on my '93 LE just recently. First, you will have to remove the interior door panel. Trust me, it's tricky. Make sure the window is up. You will need a special tool to remove the 'Christmas tree' fasteners. There are also a couple of screws that will require a Torx' screwdriver. Once that it out of the way, you will have to reach into the door an remove the linkage to the latch assembly. There is a clip holding it on and it is easy to remove. To remove the handle, there are two 10mm nuts holding it on. One will be a little hard to see, but it there. The second one is hidden behind a rubber plug near the edge of the door. This can be accessed without removing the interior door panel. The installation is not too hard but there is a trick. The linkage to the handle is loose and it will fall into the door before you can connect it to the latch assembly. Lightly wrap the linkage to the new door handle with some masking tape to hold in place but not too tight that it would restrict its function after installation. The hardest part is reconnecting the linkage to the latch assembly. You cannot see it, you'll have to feel your way through it. Good Luck!
