As a tech who worked for a fleet which operated the T660 as its mainstay until recently (when they fell out of favor for the T680), I'll guide you right through this.
On the right hand (passenger) side of the vehicle, under the hood, and against the firewall, you'll see the HVAC compartment. On that compartment, you'll see a plate which is held in with four bolts... the top two are recessed further back than the bottom two. You'll remove those with a 10mm socket.
Once you've done that, CAREFULLY remove that plate - the blower motor is attached to it, and the wires are attached to the blower motor. The wires are attached with simple slide-in fittings, so they'll be easy to detach - just gently pull them apart.
Once you've done that, you pull the whole assembly out.
Remove the fan wheels by gently pressing them out... they do break easily, mind you, and if you don't feel like replacing them, you want to treat them with the kid gloves. Be mindful also that there are arrows on each one showing the direction its intended to spin... you want to reinstall them the same way on the new blower motor.
There's a metal clamp holding the blower motor to the plate... I don't remember off the top of my head what size socket and wrench you'll need for it, but it's a bolt with a nut and washer to hold the clamp shut... maybe it's 10mm? I remember how to do these, but it's been a while, so I don't remember offhand exactly what size sockets are needed, but I'm fairly certain they're all metric.
The last bolt you need to remove will be a much smaller one, and it's what attaches the blower motor wiring harness to the assembly.
Installation is the opposite of reverse, just bear in mind that you'll probably have to fidget a little with that plate when putting it back in order to get the bolt holes lines back up properly.

Where is the cabin air filter on a 2010 Ford Explorer?

Does a 2010 Ford Explorer have a cabin air filter? If it does, I can't find it. I removed the cover next to the wipers on the passenger side and only found a permanent unremovable wire screen over the blower. I also removed the glove compartment and didn't find anything behind it but the blower motor itself.

How does one test the resister on the blower motor?

With all the effort and unnatural angles one must twist the neck and body to get the resistor OUT, it's easier just to replace it. Did mine yesterday (Aug 2010), simple. It cost $22 at Advanced Auto. It's located under the dash on the passenger side. You'll need a Phillips head to remove a plastic cover, then a 9/32" ignition wrench to remove two hex head bolts. Takes about 20 minutes. The blower motors also go bad slowly and you'll notice a significant drop on your voltmeter if your Cherokee has one) when you turn the blower switch on. The blower is on the passenger side of the engine compartment. Might be a good time to replace that too--it is accessed by moving the washer fluid reservoir out of the way in the engine compartment, then three 1/4" tiny bolts and a wiring harness clip. You may need a small pry bar to ease the blower motor out as it was likely put in with some sealant. Be sure to disconnect the negative cable on the battery before replacing either of these things.

How do you replace a blower motor on a 2010 kw t660?

First, you diagnose to ensure that the blower motor needs to be replaced. Since you didn't ask how to diagnose it, I'm going to assume you've already done that, and cut right to the chase of how to R/R a blower motor on this vehicle.Open the hood. Go to the right side of the vehicle. Look at the firewall. Past the cab filter housing, and past the AC receiver, you'll see a somewhat oddly shaped black metal box. You'll notice there are four bolts holding a plate onto it. Remove those with a 10mm socket. Carefully pull that panel out, as the blower motor is attached to it. Before you pull it all the way out, you'll have to disconnect it... simply pull the connectors to the two wires apart. On either end of that plate, you'll see where the actual fan blades are... you'll need to remove the plates at the end of the housings for them, and gently tap them off of the spindles... they're plastic, so they will break easily, and if you don't want to replace more parts than you have to, you try to not break them...The blower motor is held to that plate with a two-piece bracket which is bolted closed... IIRC, it's an 8mm socket and wrench you'll need to undo that bolt (5/16" ASE should work, also). Unbolt that, unbolt the bolt which holds the wiring to the plate, and it all comes right out.Installation is the opposite of reverse.Do make sure that you've ruled out the blower control switch and blower relay before you start throwing parts at it... those switches aren't exactly known for being worry-free on that model of truck.
