Its directly below the Power Steering Pump. You have to take the whole pump off (remove the accessory drive belt also) and then it will be exposed. From there just remove the connector and one bolt and the sensor should come out.

If i remember correctly from my Chrysler dealer days, your Jeep still has a distributor. the cam sensor is inside the distributor cap, below the rotor. Remove the cap, rotor and plastic sensor with the harness attached. It just lays there and is secured by the cap being tightened. make sure the sensor harness is plugged in correctly before removal. Jeep and Dodge has problems with those plugs not staying connected and corroding.

34L v6 fan not turning on what could it be and how do you test your fan to see if it works?

Ther is usually a temp switch on your radiator that controls the fan. it is normally open when cool and closed at 220. if you want to test your fan you can pull the wires from the switch and put a wire acros the leads this powers the fan to on. if the fan powers on replace the faulty switch.

Loss of power in your 1996 34L 4X4 Cleaned Injectors What should you check next?

Use a code scanner to check the engine diagnostic codes. If you see any problems fix that first. If there are no issues, check fuel pressure at the fuel rail test port. If the fuel pressure is low either at an idle or when driving under full power, check and/or replace the fuel filter.
