The clutch slave cylinder for a hydraulic clutch is inside the manual transmission bellhousing
If you need to replace the slave cylinder it is located in the bell housing and the trans has to be removed. The clutch master cylinder is located on the firewall on the drivers side

The clutch pedal assembly has a clutch rod that pushes in on a clutch master cylinder. There is a hydro line that goes from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder.
Replace clutch master cylinder and bleed system,also check your slave cylinder for leaks.its bolted to your transmission,the clutch cable is connected to it.

I'm not a mechanic / technician , but as far as I know the manual transmission has to be removed in order to replace the hydraulic clutch slave cylinder
You're gonna hafta drop the entire tranny to get to the clutch, pressure plate, and even tho throwout bearing/ slave cylinder.
Not if it is working alright. however if you suspect its the worst for wear it would be a good idea,
have someone mash the clutch while you are under the truck looking at the cylinder to see if its moving, if no movement undo the line and hold your thumb over it and have someone mash the clutch to see if brake fluid squirts out, if no fluid squirts out, replace the clutch master cylinder
