The brake light switch is located behind the brake pedal. it is easily removed, first disconnect wire couplink ,next unscrew the switch from behind the bracket. there should be a locknut holding it in place. next, put in the new switch the same way the old one came out. make sure that when the break pedal is in released position that the buton on the switch is pressed in. you may have to ajust the switch position to achieve this goal.

∙ 18y agoOpen the Hatch door you will find two philipps screws next othe edge of the light after unscrewing these pull out the entire tail light this is on a ball hinge just pull stright out and change light.

Entire fixture will pull out
Remove and replace bulbs as needed

∙ 15y agoThe headight bulbs can be removed from behind the light in the engine bay, but the parking and flasher bulbs are more difficult, you can access them by removing the plastic wheel well liner.

∙ 13y agoThe switch is located up under the dash near where the brake pedal pivots. You will need to unplug the connector, press the pedal down and, rotate the switch counter clockwise to remove.

If it's the brake light in the boot lid then you have to take the cover off the inside of the boot lid and then you will have access to the light bulbs. If it's the brake light in the rear quarter panel then you open boot lid and unscrew the two bolts holding the light cluster and slide it backwards, then you will have access to the bulbs
