you don't replace the tail light you just replace the bulb in it
Take 2 screws out and pull light straight back, it will come over, replace bulbs and put back on and replace screws
open the hatch there are two screws remove them and the tail light will come out, after that there are three more screws remove them and you can get to the bulbs to replace them

you can take the tail light out by unscrewing the wing nuts in the trunk, when all wing nuts are off pull the tail light out then take the light bulbs out to replace the tail light.
Open the trunk and look behind the tail light. There should be a removable piece of carpet for access to the passenger side tail light. For the drivers side you may have a compartment with two plastic tabs to open it. Open it and there is access to the right side tail light.
The taillights are an assembly. The lens covers can not be replaced separately
