you must lift up the civic with the driver side tire off then u gotta get the axle loose u might need to remove the whole left side suspention to free up the axle then u gotta get the alternator loose and remove it and then reverse.
/ The alternator can be removed by lifting front of car and driver side suspention lowered so that tire is just touching, then the alternator will have clearance to slide by driver side axle from under vehicle without removing any suspention.
