Go to a bookstore or auto parts store and buy a Haynes manual.
Samuele Beretta was born on 1990-08-05.
You may need to replace your master and slave cylinders for the clutch. Try pumping the clutch while the truck is running while it is in neutral. if its easy it shift after doing that than that's probably your problem
The vehicle speed sensor is on the transmission. The ABS speed sensor is on the differential.
Car will not move when in gear. When accelerating, the engine speed jump but the car does't increase speed very quickly.

u have a slave cylinder bolted on the side of the transmission, check to see if it is leaking,if it is ,replace and bleed,if not leaking .check your clutch master cylinder to see if its low, if not ,then u may need anew clutch.

Yes it is most likely the clutch release bearing and i would say 400 to 600 is about normal for clutch replacement.
This should have a hydraulic clutch and would not be adjustable
GM had problems with structural integrity. No 1990 convertibles were made.
Changing the clutch on these cars isn't really easy. you have to remove all connection and wires going to transaxle. disconnect steering knuckle and half axles. remove the lower suspension support bar. then undo the bolts holding the transmission to the engie and lower out the transmission. then remove clutch off the engine and replace. You can get a clutch kit for a 1990 celica for rough 130 dollars at autozone.
Yes, it has.
Could be that the clutch needs to be adjusted ... try double-clutching and see if the problem persists. Could be also that the clutch needs to be replaced.
A 1990 Ford Ranger may not shift into gear if the clutch is out. A clutch can be purchased at any auto parts store.
the clutch system is self adjusting no adjustment can be made . check the clutch master cylinder reservior
It is a BIG job. Unless you have a lot of tools and are a good mechanic, take it to a garage. If you want to do it yourself get a manual from AUTOBOOKSONLINE.COM.
