You are not going to like this answer. You have to drop the fuel tank to replace the fuel sending unit. The fuel pump, filter and fuel sending unit are a modular assembly. You might want to leave this job to the pros due to the hazards involved with working with fuel vapors. I had mine done Last year at a non-Chrysler, Jeep Dealership under an oil company insurance damage claim for around $ 300.00. The parts were fairly expensive.

Where is the coolant sensor in a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

What type of coolant sensor? The below answer is for the coolant LEVEL sensor. The coolant TEMPERATURE sensor on my vehicle is located just next to the thermostat housing. On the front top center area of the engine just behind the radiator. Follow the coolant hoses if you have trouble. On my 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee the sensor is located on the top of the plastic coolant reservoir tank. Look for a small (2-wire?) electrical connector.

How do you replace the coolant sensor in a 1998 jeep grand Cherokee with the 5.9 moster engine?

if you are referring to the engine coolant level sensor located in the top of the engine coolant reservior (usually gives the message "coolant sensor bad" in the VIC when it is bad), it can be easily "popped" out of the bottle with no tools necessary and a new one "popped" back in its place. **mine is a V8 model this should hold true for the I6 as well

Where to find the coolant censor on a 1994 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo?

There are two separate sensors that play here. the "coolant temperature sensor" and "coolant LEVEL sensor". I suggest confirming which of these was replaced, as it is very common for them to be confused. likely you will find the coolant sensor that was replaced was the one on the engine (temperature); The LEVEL sensor is mounted either in the coolant resivoir or in the radiator. Probably just need the proper sensor replaced.

How do you replace coolant level sensor?

It is in the passenger side coolant tank on the radiator. If the light is on and the coolant is at the proper level then the sensor is defective. To replace it you will have to drain the radiator. Disconnect the wire and remove the clip and remove the sensor.
