Open your hood and find the rear of the headlamp assembly. There is a plug set of wires which appear attached to the assembly. They are actually attached to the base of the bulb within the assemply. Remove the plug from the bulb base. The is a retaining clip so you will have to release it before you can remove the plug.
Turn the bulb base to your right until you feel it release. Pull back on the base and the bulb will come out. Replace the bulb holding ONLY the base of the new unit by reversing the directions. Of course do the same for each side. If you have the 3.x liter engine with a/c its a difficult manuver on the "passenger" side because of some of the housings, but it can be done easily if your do it slow and carefully.
Thats it....
Just be sure you have the correct replacement part on hand and under no conditions HANDLE THE BULB DIRECTLY WITH YOUR FINGERS. Use a clean lint free soft cloth and try to cover your hands with plastic gloves if you feel you must or even might handle the bulbs directly. NEVER USE A SOILED/OILED OR DIRTY RAG to hold the bulbs as the oils either from your hand or the dirty rag could cause a premature burnout.
Good luck..

I need to replace the bulb on the driver side of my 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan. After searching this forum I found a similar question regarding the 2000 Caravan. It talked about under the hood removing three screws and pulling out the headlight assembly. I tried this and it worked on the 2003. 1) open the hood. 2) Carefully remove the three screws holding the headlight assembly in place. In my case the screws were black. Be careful as they are screwed into plastic. 3) Carefully slide the headlight assembly out. At this point you can replace the headlight bulb, turn signal bulb, or the entire headlight assembly. To replace the headlight bulb turn the collar holding the bulb in counter clockwise. Pull the bulb out of the headlight assembly. Replace the bulb. Insert the bulb into the headlight assembly insert the collar and turn clockwise until it locks. 4) Carefully insert the headlight assembly back into place. 5) Replace the three screws removed in step 2 being carefull not to over tighten.
