Depending on which headlight assembly you are trying to replace would help answer this question, however the passengers side is the harder of the two for you must remove the washer fluid bottle first unless you have very small hands. None the less you should see a plastic ring attached to a metal wire. This is a pull ring that will unclip the marker light from the fender. The next steep is to remove the grill which includes the plastic press screws and plate over the radiator support and a single Phillips screw in the center of the grill. Then you can release the four press clips that snap the grill into place by reaching in between the radiator and grill with a small bladed straight edged screw driver. I prefer using a long screwdriver to reach the bottom ones. Once these tasks are preformed you will be able to remove the four 10mm bolts that hold the light assembly in place and unplug the hooligan lamp from the wire harness. Note: To remove the bulb you must peel off the rubber boot on the back of the light assembly then unclip its retainer wire that hinges back releasing the bulb. Reverse process for installation. In my 09 Sportage, this is called the position lamp and is located just below the main headlight bulb in the headlight assembly. You need to remove one bolt and a holding rod to pull the assembly in the 09's - other models seems to require the removal of some plastic rivets and a cover plate. Once you have the assembly out, unscrew the round read cover, move the headlight out of the way and use needle nose pliers to pull the position lamp receptacle up and out. There are three wing nuts that hold the assembly in, and those will have to be removed. Then remove the side signal assembly first, then the headlight assembly.
