the best bet is to do what i am going to do .because my antifreez started to leak all around my feet the other day while driving . go to autozone and buy the chilton repair manual . they are only $19.95 then you know you are doing it the right way .plus if you have any other problems viola just look it up.

I have a 1987 ford bronco and I changed the heater core in about 15 minutes. All you have to do is remove glove box and there is a panel with a few screws around it. and there you go.
