There are two small holes on each side of the radio.Go to Wal-mart or Best buy and buy two "u" shaped keys (one for each side) they are no more than 5 dollars. Insert the tips into the holes and push them in until they stop,pull the keys(left to the left and right to the right) and pull straight out.If you install a aftermarket stereo you'll need a installation kit and harness adapter. You can get the keys,installation kit and harness for 25 dollars or less. The whole job should take no longer than a half hour.
