How much does it cost to replace the upper and lower control arm bushings on a 1998 Chevrolet S-10? Upper control arm bushings are quoted at about 1.9 hours fro each side. However, if both are done then 3.5 hours total. Lower control arm bushings are 1.9 hours for one side and 3.4 hours for both sides. Just apply your shop's labor rate to the above hours. Note 2: Upper control arm bushings are far easier to replace than lower control arm bushings because they are far more readily accessibly.
