Mine caught on fire the other day - quite an interesting experience. I disconnected the wiring to it, but I haven't changed it yet - (its 105 degrees in CA - probablt won't need my wipers soon!) I know that it is located beneath the air intake vent on the drivers side. You have to take off your wiper arm and then unscrew the nut that holds the air intake cover on to get to it. With your hood open, you can access the wiper motor through the firewall - there are plastic screws that hold it on. Then pull gently on your weather stripping that seals the engine compartment, and you should be able to pull the fire wall back to get to the motor. You'll have to unbolt the motor from where it's mounted, and you'll have to figure out how to disconnect the arms - I haven't gotten that far yet. There is a plug on the top of the motor to disconnect your wiring - your new motor should just plug back in. Let me know how it goes! I'll be pulling mine out shortly!
Do you know where I could find a fuse box diagram for these cars? I'm having lots of trouble finding one - even the dealer couldn't help!
