If you are asking about resetting the Electronic Control Module (check engine light among other things), the easiest way is to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for around 30 to 45 minutes. You'll need a 10 mm wrench to loosen the battery terminal. Then just push it out of the way so it doesn't make electrical contact. Doesn't matter if it touches anything else metal while it is off the battery. You will also lose your radio presets and have to reset the clock(s). If you are asking about resetting something else, you'll have to be more specific.
