If the gas cap was in fact loose or faulty, just tighten it or replace it and the light will clear itself after a couple drive cycles.
Check the connection at the battery terminals. If either one works slightly loose you will think your car is ready for the scrapyard. Sometimes all the dash warning lights will flash on and off and your car will stall if a connection is loose.

I had that problem, not really a fishtail but the rear end seem to be really loose. The problem went away after replace the rear struts.
Serepentine bels do not have tension adjustments, there is a tension pully That is preloaded with a coil spring in it. If the belt is loose, the pully spring may have lost it tension. Replace the pully assembley.

On left of steering wheel on wall is a "button" to press, then in the backseat area, there is a "cord" that pulls the trunk loose also, it is near the top left hand side of top of seat. May have to dig it out.
