You have to scroll through the DIC screens. The procedure is in the manual.
Scroll to the engine oil life display. When you are on the engine oil life display, hold in the scroll button until the engine oil life goes to 100 percent.
Cycle to where you view the percentage of oil life. Hold the odometer reset peg for about 15 seconds until you see it flash or beep (not sure which one), then let go and push it once again. The second push should reset your maintenance light and oil life indicator.
I have a 2008 G5 and reset the oil life message this way. First look in your manual - it will tell you how to reset the message, otherwise do it this way. 1) Turn on your ignition key - do not start engine. 2) Go to engine oil life message. 3) Press and hold reset button, then press menu change button. Release both buttons. 4) A message will be displayed "Reset oil message". 5) Press the reset button. A message "acknowledge" is shown. 6) Press the reset button again. Oil life will be 100%.
The service indicator, on a Mercedes E 200, can be reset by scrolling to the oil life screen. From the screen hold down the scroll button until the percentage goes to 100 percent.
