4 ways to do this but all of them involve you repairing the problem first. first there are auto parts stores that can check your engine codes for free, well they can clear them as well. then you can disconnect the neg. battery terminal, or pull the ecc or engine control computer fuse and wait for a minute or so. Of course since it is a 2006 the dealership should do this including the repairs under warranty. Remember if the problem still exists then the code will come back as soon as the computer gathers enough information.

Disconnect the battery for five to 20 minutes. This will reset the ECM.
You do not have to reset the computer. It will take care of itself.
