If it's anything like my 96 Passport with the 3.2 V6 simply put...you don't! The darn thing has no distributor. These vehicles are completely computer driven. From knock and oxygen sensors to PCM programing errors...there is nothing "user friendly" about these vehicles!
"These vehicles" are very good cars. If you know how to take care of them. (note to last poster.)
If your refering to the timing belt than your in for a chore because no vehicle Honda or otherwise is very fun in this department. You're going to have to work your way down to the timing belt and ,with a manual, reset the belt and pulleys into the proper configuration. Best to let a mechanic do it if you're not in the mood for a full day of engine work.
.019 or set dwell at 28 to 32 degrees, check timing afterwqrds.
European standard is 32 pages I think, and US is 24 pages but you can add pages to a US passport.
My brand new 32 page UK passport issued October 2012 weighs 25g.
You need to contact the cam manufacturer. Usually 32-40 BTDC @ 3000 rpm.
with my 1991 Honda civic @ approx 200,xxx miles and a 12 gallon fuel tank, i get 27.75 mpg driving at 70 mph. with an newer engine and proper engine timing and valve lash you could expect 32 mpg or better.
with the v/advance unplugged bring your idle up to 3000rpm and set you timing at 32 while revving. now tighten down the distributor and plug you v/a back in, and voi-la your done. that year doesn't have a vacuum advance... he said 92 caprice not 82........you need to find the EST remove it and set the timing to 0 then plug the est back in and the computer takes over
8 eights = one whole set if 4 = 1/8 then multiply it by 8 to get one whole set 4x8 = 32 32 = one whole set
what is the value of the 32 card set
My Civic has 186,000 miles and still running. Just took it in to change the timing belt and water pump. Not because I had to, just because I should. My 2000 Honda Civic EX has 330,000 miles on it and it's going strong. I get 32 MPG but it leaks a little oil, about a 1/2 quart per fill up. I changed the timing belt at 240,000 but I got lucky. If it breaks it destroys the engine which I did not know.
