Let the engine sit for 15 minutes or longer. Do not pump the gas when you try to restart it. If it won't start just by simply turning the key PUSH THE GAS PEDAL TO THE FLOOR AND HOLD IT THERE!!! DO NOT PUMP! JUST HOLD IT THERE and turn the key. This opens the throttle to let all the built up gas get out of the carb down into the cylinders. Continue to crank the engine while you HOLD THE PEDAL TO THE FLOOR , DO NOT PUMP. After some cranking the engine may catch. If not, let it sit for a bit to let some of the fuel evaporate and give the plugs a chance to dry out if they are saturated with fuel. The key is: Crank, HOLD PEDAL TO FLOOR, DO NOT PUMP.

try the above first but if its a servious flooding disconect fuel lines and plug them , pull all plugs and dry off, turn over engine without plug to blow anythhing leftover out, try again, this drys everything out but is a serious pain to do, also works good on vehicles that have rolled and have oil in the cylinders
