OOOH Dang carburetors anyway! Ha.These things can be more tempermental in between summer and winter. The proper way to start one of these vehicles, is to first depress the accelerator all the way to the floor, and release. The same is true for both summer and winter. What this does is set the choke/fast idle, and primes the intake with a little bit of gas. This is supposed to help start the engine. The next thing to do is turn the key to start the engine. It should start quickly, but if not, then you may have other problems that need to be repaired.
