It is easy to install a TBI system on an old out dated caurburated vehicle. Find a complete vehicle with a TBI system, get a manuel and go to work grafting all the componenys from one vehicle to another. If you do not have the know how to do it this way. Get in touch with a company that buildskits to do these conversions. Like Arizona tbi or Google tbi conversions.
It's possible, but not a bolt-on.
Edelbrock makes a manifold for the 4.3. I'm running a 500cfm performer carburetor on my '31 Ford Pickup with 4.3.
yes you can you just need to change over the intake manifold from a carburetor to the throttle body intake
You have to have the computer for the throttle body carb and the fuel pump to match it good luck
Yes But they have different plug ins on the throttle body so you will have to you will have to swap the throttle body also
No, and you don't need to swap carburetors either. The carburetor may need readjusting for the elevation of whatever country you are moving too, but you do not need to swap it out.
Do your throttle body linkages move when you press the accelerator pedel if not you may have a broken cable or if you have swaped engines the cable may not work properly. Does the engine rev when you manualy operate the throttle body also is your air flow meter hooked up as this will affect throttle as will other sensors so make sure all of these are connected
yes.
The throttle body intake will not bolt to the Magnum engine block.
you will need to swap intakes too. or i think someone might make adapter plates for the throttle body but im not sure.
