If it's still under warranty, take it to the dealer. If not, then you need to go to a car parts store, and get a repair manual for your car. They cost about $16.00 Or, go to a Public Library.

You will need to remove the inside door panel. With the door panel removed the entire door latching system will be visible. Reattach the door handle by attaching the door handle retaining bolts.

Yours probably has the same problem as mine...& that is the door handle has broken off inside. Mine has 2 broken tangs & so it will not work but it works inside.
I believe the original handle is riveted on. If so, you can drill out the rivet and use nut's and bolts to reattach.

take off door panel. get a drill and drill out the rivet that is on the door handle bracket. and unscrew the others. and pop out linkage and then install new one
You first must take off the handle to see what your problem is. Most likely it is one of the plastic pieces that holds the release rods to the handle. To take the handle off there are three 14mm bolts on the inside of the tailgate.
Open your door. Look at the edge of the door. There is a bolt just about even with the handle. Take that out and then remove the inside door panel. There should be a whole at on the inside even with the door handle, take that out and the handle should be lose. You will then have to take apart the clips that work the lock and door latch. Its not simple, but if you are half way mechanically incline you should be able to do it.
