You have yo remove the door panel, if you don't know how go to you auto parts store and get a book for your truck it will show you how. The linkage is what sound like is broken.
you have to remove the door pannel, theres about 3 bolts you have to undo to remove it from the door, but you have to take the inside door pannel off, like where you rest your arm on the door.

Yes because i have seen some old cars with manual windows before and ive seen some of the same cars with automatic windows. I have seen the kits available at sites like JCWitney.com but I have never tried them.
All of them ? check fuses and circuit brakers you may have disconnected the battery and they need reset, pull up the closer buttons and hold both from the passenger side first... after 5 seconds try them. consult manual
It shows in my manual that when the passenger door is open it is opposite the passenger door near the Glove box, but mine was not there, it is at the right kickpanel where a passenger's right foot would normally be. or you could just look harder!
