See if unhooking the battery terminals for a few minutes doesn't reset the system and allow access to the radio.
You have to contact your dealer. The stereo will have a serial number on the back and the dealer will tell you the code.
you will probably have to take it to a Chevrolet dealer and have them unlock it
Without
See dealer
find out the company that was subcontracted to make the radio for VW. It might be a blaupunkt. email them and see if they can send you the code
there is a plug in under the dash the bottum row take a jumper wire from the first on the left to the third them turn your key on your light will flash once and then start giving you codes drive safe
you can go to the dealer with the radio or the VIN # and the should either be able to unlock it for you or look up the code.
i have a 2001 Saturn it has a dolby 8 NR stereo system please tell me the code to unlock it.
My favorite way is a five pound blacksmiths hammer and a lot of swearwords. The dealer may have a master code for the stereo, If buying a used stereo always get the VIN (serial #) of the donor car.
you have to have the unlock code supplied with the truck from the dealer when it was purchased new. Or drive to a dealer with your title, showing that it's legally yours, pay a fee, and they can research it for you. Next time, don't unhook the battery
I need to unlock a jvc-kw-xr616 car stereo
A dealer can unlock it for you. The codes were installed to reduce the attractiveness of the stereo to thieves. You'll have to prove it wasn't stolen before they unlock it.
