Check out the aftermarket sources for light bars or some of the four wheel drive sites that are available online. Lots of good info but basically a light bar will have installation instructions with it.
I gues I would also have to say that if you have to ask this question, you might not have any business with a light bar on top of your GC.
Do some homework and don't expect someone to hold your hand and I say this with respect because I know that nothing is easy but good things are those that come with honest working for them. If you pay someone to put a lightbar on the roof and you break it how will you fix it without paying another HUGE chunk of change. Get your hands dirty and take ownership of the beast.
The 2001 Jeep Cherokee crossbar is welded to the frame of the vehicle. You will need to use a cutting torch to remove the crossbar.
5.25" front and rear sound bar
replace the coil bar and you are set
Yeah the light bar (sound bar) should fit all Wranglers. On the 1994 Wrangler, it mounts over the driver/passenger seats head.
5 1/2" in the rear sound bar. 5 1/2" to 6 1/2" in the front door panels. Just did this in my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic.
quickly just take out bolts fast air gun easy
It keeps the front axle in the correct left to right alignment.
If the Jeep is setting level there should be no tension on the rear sway bar. Also, it should not matter if the Jeep is on the ground. The sway bars on the Jeep Cherokee simply pass through a bushing and transfer force through leverage from one side to the other. hth
Check the sway bar bushings. Also make sure there is the correct amount of air in the tires.
Yes. Make sure that the transmission is in Neutral and that the transfer case is also in Neutral.
No the 65 cj5doesn't a fuse box. But under the dash just to the right of center on the firewall there is a fuse bar . My 65 has a fuse bar that only has four fuses , but below this bar is a wire connector bar that has a double row of screws ten on top and ten directly below the top row that is it. I would assume that it would depending on what type of accessories your jeep came with on how long or big the fuse buss and wire connector bar is.
Try This : Install a bigger, firmer aftermarket anti-roll bar. I have not yet done it to mine (2000) - but I hear of good results.
